NewsNew Book edited by Martin O'KaneA new book of essays edited by Martin O'Kane with contributions from other members of the Research Centre was launched at the Imaging the Bible in Wales Conference in April 2008.
Second Radio BroadcastMartin Crampin recorded a second radio interview explaining the Imaging the Bible in Wales project for Radio Wales which was broadcast as part of the Radio Wales Arts Show in July 2008. Part of the interview was recorded in the Church of St Padarn, Llanbadarn Fawr, near Aberystwyth, and described some of the artwork in the church.
Imaging the Bible in Wales ConferenceThe second conference for the Imaging the Bible in Wales Project was held at Aberystwyth University from 31 March – 3 April 2008. The conference included contributions from artists, art historians, biblical scholars and church historians. A related exhibition of new artwork based on biblical stories by students and staff from the School of Art, Aberystwyth University is currently on display at the School of Art Galleries. |
